Our journey
Rooted in real problems, grown step by step
The seed
Bloom Technologies was founded in Addis Ababa. The first job came from flower growers tracking millions of stems across fragmented spreadsheets, so the first build was Bloom Farm — software shaped entirely around the packhouse floor, from production intake to cold-room packing.
Into production
Bloom Farm went live at its first farms. Intake, bunching, quality assurance, fault logging, and packing all moved off paper and into one real-time platform — with per-worker productivity tracking the floor could actually see.
Branching out
A tailored dashboard for clinicians, then bespoke builds for operators in other trades. The method transferred cleanly to work that had nothing to do with flowers — which was the whole bet.
The road ahead
We take on full product work now: web and mobile applications, internal systems, integrations, and the long-term support around them. Same approach whatever the trade — learn the work, then build for it.
